There are a number of quality health resources online, below are a few.
  • MedlinePlus
    This site brings together authoritative information from the National Institutes of Health and other government agencies and health-related organizations. Provides easy access to medical journal articles, information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and latest health news.

  • Mayo Clinic
    A consumer health site of health information and healthy lifestyles.

  • Consumer Health Complete (NSU database)
    Searchable database of articles from health encyclopedias, reference books and alternative health sources, as well as health-related news reports, pamphlets, and drug and herb information. Content includes not only articles, but images and diagrams as well as videos and animations.

  • Alt HealthWatch (NSU database)
    An alternative medicine resource which provides in-depth coverage in journal, pamphlets and other sources.

  • Health Source - Nursing/Academic Edition (NSU database)
    Searchable access to nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition also features the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.

  • Health Source - Consumer Edition (NSU database)
